Synopsis
Aurelien was 20 years old when he left his hometown, his upper- middle-class family and his older brother’s control. Today Aurelien is 35; his parents have died and he sees little of his older brother – which suits him very well. Hardened and reconciled to a life of solitude, he settles for a fragmented love life. However, Aurelien must return to his childhood in Brittany to sell the family home, and is forced to face the past he fled so many years ago. That’s when he comes to realize that there is so much more to life than a career. His 48-hour stay in Brittany will soon be considerably extended as past struggles re-emerge, creating a shift in family roles and giving Aurelien the chance to free himself, most notably from constantly being in second place.
