Synopsis
On November 13, 2015, France fell into horror: 130 people died in the attacks in Paris, 352 were injured. One year later, meeting with five men and women who that night saw death in the face and the face of terror. To understand how they lived through the unthinkable and how they have been rebuilding themselves ever since. To illustrate this journey to the land of memory, their stories are intertwined with a series of drawings: as the memories reappear, paintings drawn by the artist Farid Boudjellal recomposing the scenes described are superimposed on the interviews. A powerful and universal film about human behaviour in the face of terror and the capacity for reaction in each of us.

His documentary draws part of its strength from the quality of the cast and the finesse of the comments. And also from a solid sense of construction and the care taken to evoke the traumatic circumstances these men and women faced on that terrible evening a year ago.
